Capsicum - besan ki sabzi

Ingredients


  • 2 big capsicum cut into 1 inch cubes
  • 4 tbsp gram flour(besan)
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp + 1/4 t.sp. asafoetida
  • 1/2 tsp coriander pwd
  • 1/2 tsp cumin pwd
  • 1 tsp red chilly pwd
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric pwd
  • 1 tsp sugar(optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • salt to taste

Directions

  1. Dry roast gram flour in a non stick pan with 1/4 tsp. asafoetida + cumin pwd + coriander pwd on a low flame stirring continuously.
  2. When it starts sticking to the pan and nice aroma comes, add red chilly pwd, mix and remove from fire.Take out in a plate.
  3. Heat oil in another non stick pan.Add cumin seeds + asafoetida + capsicum + salt + turmeric pwd.Cook till soft on a low flame.
  4. Add sugar and lemon juice, mix and evenly spread the capsicums.
  5. Spread gram flour on it and cover for 3 min
  6. Mix gently and cook for 5 min stirring in between otherwise gram flour will stick at the bottom.
  7. Serve along with main meal.

HI Divya looks good i like spicy very much if i add garam masala will be spicy or little kitchen king masala please suggest.

Dear coolcook, I love vegetables.Fried food and sweets are not good for health.All of the recipes are my own.I can also give copied recipes but I hate that.If you see the list carefully you will find other recipes also.
