Steamed Chicken balls

These healthy steamed balls can be had as a tea time snack. It is quick and easy. They can be made earlier and frozen.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 500 gms minced chicken
    • 1 tbsp. oil
    • 2-3 tbsp. coriander leaves, chopped
    • 2-3 green chillies, chopped
    • 1/2 tsp. garam masala powder
    • 1/2 tsp. pepper powder (opt)
    • 1 tsp. ginger, grated
    • 1/2 cup rice, soaked for an hour
    • salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Blend the mince with the rest of the ingredients, except the rice and make small balls.
    2. Drain the soaked rice. Coat the balls with the rice and steam for 15-20 minutes.
    3. Serve with coriander chutney.
