Peas & Mushroom with yogurt

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1 bowl white mushroom (medium size)
    • 1 bowl frozen peas (medium size)
    • 1 medium size onion
    • 1/2 cup fresh yogurt
    • 1 tbsp ginger &  garlic (finely chopped)
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1 tsp dhaniya jeera powder(Dhanajeeru)
    • 1/2 tsp garam masala
    • Salt - as per taste
    • Fresh cilantro - Garnishing
    • 2-3 tsp Oil

    Directions

    1. Cut mushroom in mediun size( cut them in 4 pieces). Wash frozen peas under running tap water to bring them to normal room temp.
    2. Chopped onion finely or grate in food chopper but don't make puree.
    3. In nonstick pan add oil , then add chopped onion and saute for 3-4 mins.
    4. Now add finely chopped ginger & garlic and saute for another 2-3 mins.
    5. When onion are done then add mushroom & peas. Keep stir them on medium heat for 3-4 mins.
    6. Then add turmeric, red chilli, dhaniya- jeera powder, garam masala powder and salt.
    7. Keep stir and mix all ingredients very well. 
    8. Normaly mushroom cook fast so you don't need to cook them for long.
    9. Now add yogurt  and mix well. When oil comes out from sides turn off heat.
    10. Finely garnish with cilantro and serve hot with roti or parathas.
