Hesarubele Laadu

Moong dal Laddu

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup Moong dal
    • 3 tblsp Ghee (clarified butter)
    • 1 cup powdered Sugar
    • 2 tblsp fried Cashwenuts
    • 1 tblsp chopped Almonds
    • a pinch of Cardamom powder

    Directions

    1. In a kadai add 1 tblsp of Ghee & fry Moong dal on Medium heat till light brown colour. Remove & cool. Make a fine powder of the roasted Moong dal.
    2. Take the powdered Moong dal in a bowl. Add Ghee, Cardamom powder, Sugar, fried Cashwenuts & Almonds. Mix well.
    3. Make laddu by tightly pressing the mixture. If the mixture doesnot form round shape or breaks while making laddu, add more Ghee(little by little). Serve with evening tea or coffee.
