Radish curry

a good gravy!!

many don't like Radish for it's pungent smell but try this and you sure will like it...

Ingredients vegetarian 1 servings


    • 200 gms raddish
    • 1 onion
    • 2 tomatoes
    • 1 tsp saunf
    • 3 tsps coconut
    • 2-3 tsps red chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp jeera powder
    • 1 tsp dhaniya powder
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric
    • 2 green chillies
    • 3 cloves
    • 1 inch cinnamon
    • 1/2 tsp mustard for seasoning
    • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • salt to taste
    • few curry leaves and coriander leaves

    Directions

    1. chop raddish into small pieces and keep in water.
    2. fry onions, saunf and coconut and grind to paste.
    3. heat oil,season with mustard,curry leaves and green chillies,cloves and cinnamon.
    4. fry in the ginger garlic paste and the tomatoes.
    5. add all the powders and the chopped raddish and fry well in the masalas adding salt and the coraiander leaves.
    6. pour adequate water and cook till the vegetable is well cooked and soft or pressure cook with just 2 whistles.
    7. serve hot with rice or rotis
