Prawn Rolls

Tea time Snack

Surprise your guests with this unique snack along with a homemade sweet lime juice.

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • Few papads of your choice
    • 500 gms. Prawns
    • 3 Tomatoes, chopped
    • 2 large Onions
    • 1 tsp. Red Chilli powder
    • 1 tbsp. Coriander cumin powder
    • 1 tsp. Ginger-Garlic paste
    • 1 bunch Coriander leaves, chopped
    • Salt to taste
    • 2 tbsp. Oil for cooking the prawns
    • Oil for deep frying

    Directions

    1. Steam papads until soft enough to roll. keep aside.
    2. Heat oil and fry onions till soft, add the ginger-garlic paste and fry for 5 min. then add the red chilli powder, coriander-cummin powder and salt. add tomatoes and simmer till the oil floates on top.
    3. Now add the prawns and coriander leaves and cook on a low flame till the prawns are cooked, and the gravy dries up.
    4. On every papad spread a little of the prawn mixture along the edge. roll the papad and secure the roll with a toothpick. deep fry the rolls until crisp.
    5. Chop into small pieces and serve hot with either mint chutney, tomato or chilli sauce.

    Hi, I tried this dish, but only the problem i faced was Paper coating not done properly. Can you advise.

    It will be more tasty and easy to handle if roled in a thin pan cake . its yammy, try it out
