Sweet "N' sour fruit syrup

Berry (Ber) n black grapes cooked in sugar syrup

Mouth watering yuuummy syrup

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup ripe berry (Ber)
    • 1 large tomato (chopped)
    • ½ Cup black grapes
    • ½ cup sugar
    • ½ tsp salt
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric
    • 1/4 tsp mustard seed
    • 1 whole red chilli
    • 1 cup water
    • 1 tsp oil
    • ½ tsp roasted jeera (optional)

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a pan, lower the heat.
    2. Add mustard and whole red chilli
    3. Add chopped tomato.
    4. Keep stirring and mash tomato properly.
    5. Slit and add ripe berry
    6. Add turmeric and salt.
    7. Saute and add water.
    8. Add sugar and let it boil till berry turns soft and thicken the syrup consistency.
    9. Remove from fire and add black grapes. Mix well.
    10. Sprinkle roasted jeera from the top.
    11. Make the syrup cold and serve.
