Easy Beetroot Fry

really quick and easy

This can be served in thali, with rice and rasam.....

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 4 Beetroots (cut into small pieces)
    • 4 tbsp oil
    • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1 ½ tsp chilli powder
    • 1 ½ tsp salt
    • 2 cups water
    • 6-7 curry leaves
    • oil for frying

    Directions

    1. In a cooker, put oil, ginger garlic paste, chilli powder, salt and sauté well.
    2. Now add the beetroot and put the water.
    3. Pressure cook the beetroot for 15-20 minutes.
    4. In a kadai put oil and curry leaves.
    5. Now put the beetroot content and fry till all the water has evaporated.
    6. The beetroot fry is ready to serve!!!!

    After adding the oil, you have to put 1 medium sized onion (chopped) and 1 tomato (chopped) to give it a yummy taste!!! 4got to add in my recipe, pls note dis....
