Ezy Potato-Egg Fry

Potato pieces fried with spices and beaten egg mixture

This Potato-Egg Fry is an easy, tasty and popular side-dish only needs 9 mins microwave cooking- time. This side-dish is the best combination for rice and sambar or rasam or chapathis.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 cups chopped Potatoes(Peel before chopping them)
    • 2 Eggs-beaten well
    • 1/2 cup finely chopped onions
    • 2 tsp chilli powder
    • 1/2 tsp garam masala or any good mutton masala
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    • 1/2 tsp mustard seds
    • 1 tsp white sesame seeds-this adds fine flavour to the fry
    • 2 tsp salt to taste
    • few curry leaves
    • few coriander leaves
    • 3/4 cup water
    • 1 tbsp refined oil

    Directions

    1. Take a microwave bowl and mix all the ingredients with 3/4 cup water and Microwave(high) this mixture for 9 mins.
    2. Serve this Potato-Egg fry hot with rice and sambar or rasam or yoghurt or chapathis.
