Beetroot Gravy

A different way to make beetroot a delicious one

Ingredients vegetarian 1 servings


    • 1 Big size Beetroot
    • 3 Medium size Tomatoes
    • 2 Green chillies
    • 2 Red chillies
    • A small piece of ginger
    • 2 tsp cumin seeds
    • 2 tbsp of coriander leaves(chopped)
    • Salt to taste
    • 3 tsp of oil

     

    Directions

    1. Chop beetroot and boil it in Cooker.
    2. Heat a khadai and pour 2 tsp oil.
    3. Once the oil heats up fry the tomato until they turn brown in color.
    4. Remove tomato from Khadai and fry all the remaining items except coriander leaves.
    5. Grind all the fried items along with coriander with required water.
    6. Now in the khadai add beetroot and the ground paste and add salt.
    7. Allow them in boil until required consistency is arrived.
    8. It goes vey well chappati.

    Note: chillies can be increased or decreased according to taste.
