Mewa Laddoo

dry fruits & jaggery laddoos

easy to make & great to taste!

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 kg jaggery
    • 250 gms beesan (chickpea flour)
    • 1/2 kg aata (wheat flour)
    • 1/2 kg ghee
    • Handfull of dry fruits each [almonds, cashews, pistachios, peanuts, lotus seeds (makhane), chironge etc]
    • 1 cup water

    Directions

    1. Heat some ghee in a pan & roast beesan till smells comes out then keep it aside
    2. Next roast aata like this & keep aside
    3. Chop all the dry fruits & roast them in ghee & keep aside(u can grind makhane )
    4. To make jaggery syrup, boil water then add jaggery and cook till all the jagerry melt,then sieve this syrup
    5. In a bowl mix beesan,aata,dry fruits & jaggery syrup.mix well & make laddoos of this mixture when its hot
    6. You can store these laddoos in air tight container!

    Good Receipie. Can sugar be used instead of jaggery and if so in what quantity?
