Pineapple-Bread Pudding

Crushed pineapple pieces cooked with brad,butter and milk with sugar

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 1 cup crushed pineapple pieces
    • 2 slices bread ( cut into 8 pieces)
    • 2 tsp oats
    • 2 tbsp sugar
    • 500 ml full cream milk
    • ½ tsp green cardamom powder
    • 1 egg (beaten well)
    • 2 tbsp butter
    • 5 crushed cashews
    • 10 raisins

    Directions

    1. Boil the full cream milk with Oats and green cardamom powder.Keep it aside for 5 mins.
    2. Mix the sugar and egg together till sugar gets dissolved and add the warm boiled milk to the mixture.
    3. Add the crushed pineapple and mix them well.
    4. Apply butter on both sides of the bread slices trim the edges.Grease a glass bowl with butter and arrange the bread slices at the bottom of the bowl and pour the pineapple mixture over it so the it just covers the bread.
    5. Put the raisins and crushed cashew on top.
    6. Bake it for 6-7 mins in microwave oven or till it settles.
    7. Serve this pudding hot or chilled as a dessert.
