Maida masala chips

Ingredients vegetarian 6 servings


    • 1 cup Maida heaped
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1 tsp putana(Daliya,bengal gram dal)
    • 1 tsp ghee
    • 1- 1/2 tsp Salt as per ur taste
    • 1/4 cup water
    • Oil for frying

    Directions

    1. Roast putana and make fine powder.
    2. Take a large bowl.Mix maida,putana,garam masala,red chilli powder and salt with ghee and water.Add water now and then and make a dough.
    3. Make lemon sized balls and form a big round with the rolling pin and by dusting with maida.
    4. Draw standing line & slanting line and make diamond shaped.
    5. Heat sufficient oil and after its ready,deep fry the diamond shapes on both sides turning puffy and light brown.
    6. Drain excess oil.Crispy Maida chips are ready.
