Veg (Soyabean) Patties

Its soyabean granules patties.Very nutritious liked by kids as well as grown ups

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

    • 4 Boiled Potaoes
    • 1/2 cup chopped coriander leaves
    • 1/2 ts p red chilly powder
    • 2 bread slices
    • salt to taste
    • oil for shallow frying

    for Stuffing (from Veg Keema Recipe)

    • 2 finely chopped onions
    • 2 tomatoes (finely chopped or grind it)
    • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1/2 cup soyabean granules
    • 1 tsp garam masala
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1/2 tsp coriander powder


    1. Follow directions on Veg Keema recipe and dry the gravy as much as you can as this forms the stuffing of patties
    2. Now mash boil potatoes, Add salt, red chilly powder and coriander leaves.
    3. Dip the bread slices in water and squeeze the water from it and add to boiled potatoes. Mix it to form a dough
    4. Make medium sized balls and make a hole in it
    5. Add soyabean stuffing into it and close it
    6. Shallow fry it on tawa. Till it turns brown on both sides
    7. Serve with green mint chutney
