Matar Palak

very tasty and simple

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 cup green peas
    • 1½cup palak paste
    • ½ cup tomato paste
    • ½ cup onion paste
    • 1 tsp kasuri methi
    • 1 tsp garlic paste
    • 1 tsp ginger paste
    • 4 long (crushed)
    • 1 dalchini (crushed)
    • 2 choti elaichi (crushed)
    • ½ tsp kali mirch powder
    • ½ tsp sugar
    • ½ tsp red chilli powder
    • 1 tbsp fresh cream
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 1 tbsp butter
    • 1/2 cup water
    • salt to taste 

    Directions

    1. Boil palak and make puree of it.
    2. Now in pan heat oil add kasuri methi, long, dalchini, chothi elaichi and green peas.
    3. After 2-3 sec add onion paste cook it for 2 min.
    4. Now add ginger, garlic, kali mirch and tomato paste cook it for 3 min.
    5. Now add cream after a min add palak paste, red chilli, salt, sugar and water cook it for 3-4 min.
    6. Now lastly add butter and serve hot with chapatti.

    dear pallavi in ur recipe" matar palak'' u don't add matar in ur direction i think u forgotten to write.
