1 cup chana dal
2 cups coconut grated
8-10 red chillis (adjust according to your taste)
1 tsp imli paste
salt to taste
2 tsp jaggery powdered
4-5 pods garlic (can add more if you like the flavour)
Dry roast chana dal till it reaches a golden brown colour.
Fry chillis in very little oil.
Grind all ingredients to a very fine paste using minimum water
Store in an airtight bottle and keep refrigerated.
Spread batter on the tava as you would to make dosa.let it cook and then spread chutney evenly.
Don't turn the dosa.add a spoon of ghee for hotel taste.
If you are making masala dosa place potato curry after spreading chutney.
