Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • Brown chickpeas (Chana) 400 gms
    • Oil for deep fry
    • Salt 1 tsp or as per taste
    • Red Chilly powder 1 tsp
    • Turmeric 1/2 tsp
    • Garam masala 1/2 tsp
    • Aamchur a pinch of it
    • Onion-Green Chilly-Tomato (Thinly sliced) 1 no
    • Lemon 1 no

     

    Directions

    1. Soak the brown chickpeas (chana) overnight.
    2. Boil the chickpeas with 1/2 tbsp of salt added in the water.
    3. Let the chickpeas cool. take the chickpeas one by one to make it flat by pressing it with help of a bowl.
    4. Rinse it for 15 minutes. Once the water is gone and it is dry, heat a frying pan
    5. Deep fry the flattened chickpeas. Once it changes its colour and turns crispy, remove it from the pan.
    6. Add all the spices and toss it properly. Your chana chor garam is ready.
    7. Add the thinly sliced onion, tomato and green chilly with a dash of lemon juice. Toss it properly and if you want it more spicy, you can add the spices especially the garam masala.
