Avacado Dip

Avacado Dip, a delicious authentic Mexican dip prepared with fresh avacados.

Avacado dip is easy to make and can be served with many finger foods or chips.

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 2 ripe avacados, halved, peeled and diced
    • 1 cup sour cream
    • 2 jalapenos chopped
    • 3/4 cup tomatoes chopped
    • 1/2 cup onions chopped
    • 2 tablespoons of coriander leaves chopped
    • 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
    • 1 teaspoon of salt
    • Pinch of black pepper powder
    • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin powder

    Directions

    1. In a mixing bowl, nicely mash the avacados with a masher. 
    2. Mix in the sour cream, tomatoes, onion, jalapenos, coriander, garlic powder, pepper powder, cumin powder and finally the salt.
    3. Serve this crunchy avacado dip with tortilla chips, nachos etc.
    4. As a variant you can combine the avacados, sour cream, coriander, jalapenos in a food processor and mix the other ingredients together to a smooth dip.
