Vegetable Samosa

A very famous indian snack.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 cups of peas.
    • 1 big carrot(finely grated).
    • Salt.
    • 3 tsp garam masala powder.
    • 1 1/2 tbsp of ginger,garlic paste.
    • 2 tbsp green chilly paste.
    • 2 tbsp coriander leaves.
    • 2 tbsp mint leaves
    • 1 onion finely chopped.
    • 4 tbsp of grated coconut.
    • 1 tbsp lemon juice.
    • 12 to 14 sheets of samosa wrappers.
    • Oil for deep frying.

    Directions

    1. Boil water ,add salt and put peas in boiling water ,boil for a min and drain water.
    2. Grate carrot very finely, squeeze out water.
    3. Grind peas in grinder (dry) and mix with carrot.
    4. Heat about 1 tsp of oil,add ginger,garlic paste,green chilly paste , braise for 3 mins till dry .
    5. Add to the peas,add coconut, coriander, mint ,salt, garam masala powder,lemon juice and onions.
    6. Mix properly , fill the wrappers with this ,and deep fry on medium heat till golden brown and crispy.
    7. Serve with coconut chutney or green chutney.
