Beef Fry

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • ½ kg beef (boneless)
    • 3 Medium sized onions - Finely chopped
    • 1 tsp ginger garlic- Finely chopped
    • 5 green chillies-Finely chopped
    • 2 tomatoes-Finely chopped
    • 1/4 tsp of turmeric
    • 1 heap tbsp of coriander powder
    • 2 levelled tbsp of Red Chilli powder
    • Salt to taste
    • Curry leaves
    • 4 tbsp of oil

    Directions

    1. Wash beef thoroughly and set aside
    2. In a pressure cooker, heat 2tbsp oil add onions, ginger-garlic, tomatoes, green chillies and beef. Saute for a minute
    3. Then add Turmeric, coriander powder, Red chilli powder.
    4. Pressure cook for 10 minutes on high flame. Then another 15 minutes on simmer.
    5. In a wok add 3 tbsp of oil and curry leaves. then add cooked beef mixture. Mix well for five minutes. Simmer if necessary to make a thicker gravy
    6. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with puris
