Black Chholey

its very easy to cook and yummy to eat, a very tasty recipe for eve snacks

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 1 cup black choley (soak min 5-6 hrs)
    • ½ tsp red chilli powder
    • ½ tsp haldi powder
    • 1 tsp  dhaniya powder
    • 1 big onion
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • 2 tsp oil
    • ½ tsp cumin seeds

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a cooker and add cumin seeds.
    2. After popping the seeds, add tomato pieces and fry for  a minute.
    3. Now add red chilli powder, dhaniya powder, haldi powder and salt. mix well and add 1 cup of water with chholey in it and cover the lid.
    4. Pressure cook for 15 minues, release the pressure and open the cooker. cook for another 5 min until oil appears.
    5. now add cutt onion to garnish and add lemon juice on it.
    6. serve hot

    one chopped tomato is enough in one cup of choley. and you can increase the amount according to your taste.
