This is a pretty good recipe and tasty. Instead of watermelon seeds one can use 'char magaz' its just as good.

Excellent! I tried this chicken and it came out very good. The only changes I would like to recommend is adding only 2 onions instead of 4 and using cashews instead of watermelon seeds. I will definitely be making this dish again. Thank you.

Just great! The first time I prepared it I followed the ingredients and method to the hilt. The second time made some variations like leaving out the watermelon seeds and used pure desi ghee instead of oil for the saute of bay leaves, cardamom, cloves, onion paste and ginger/garlic paste. (I also increased the quantity of the ginger/garlic paste to 3 teaspoons) I would request Ms. Kavita Rohra the contributor of the original recipe to try out this variation. Regards, Purnima

This chicken dish is really delicious & also quite easy to make. I used a combn. of readymade garam masala & chicken masala instead of all spice powder.
