Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 grated fresh coconut
    • 250gms of paneer
    • 100 gms of fresh green peas
    • 200gms tomatoes
    • 8 to 10 blanched almonds or kajus
    • 1 small cup of fresh mint leaves
    • 1/4th cup of fresh coriander
    • 2 green chillies
    • 1/4th cup of curd
    • 1 tspn each of red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, jeera powder,garam masala powder, dry mango powder and salt to taste
    • whole spices 2 each of cardamon, clove, black pepper, star anise 1, 1 stick of cinnamon and orange food colour 1/4th tspn
    • oilor butter 2 to 3 tbspns
    • 1 lime juice in the last for garnishing and 6 to 8 almonds and raisins for garnishing

    Directions

    1. give one whistle to green peas cut the paneer into medium pieces,
    2. in a mixer grind fresh coconut, all whole spices and powdered spices along with jalebi colour, curd and mint and coriander leaves and green chillies and blanched almonds or kajus
    3. grind the tomatoes into paste
    4. in a bottomed pan add butter and grounded paste fry it for sometime
    5. add tomato paste and cook for sometime add the par boiled peas and paneer cubes and half a cup of water and salt to taste and cook for 5 to 10 minutes with lid on it on slow flame
    6. when cooked switch off the gas and add 1 lime juice and garnish it with fresh coriander and almonds and raisins and serve hot with lacchedar parathas or biryani
