Dum Chicken

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 chicken (cut into 8 pieces)
    • 150 g yoghurt
    • 8 Almonds
    • 10 Cashew nuts
    • 1 tbsp Coconut (grated)
    • 3 Onions
    • 1 tbsp garam masala powder
    • 2 tsp Red chilli powder
    • 1 tsp Turmeric
    • Salt to taste
    • 1 tbsp Ginger-Garlic paste
    • 1/2 tsp Black pepper
    • 1/2 tsp Nahari powder
    • 1/2 tsp Ajinamoto
    • 1 pinch Saffron colour
    • Few strands of saffron
    • Lemon
    • Finely chopped coriander
    • 3-4 tbsps Oil

    Directions

    1. Wash chicken pieces and drain water.Fry onions until brown, remove from oil and spread on plate.
    2. Crush it after its cools.Roast almonds, cashewnuts and coconut and grind to a fine paste.
    3. Prepare Aware of the marinade ingredients (except oil). Mix all this with chicken pieces.
    4. Marinate about 1 / 2 hour.In vessel to this mixture and butter.
    5. Cook on medium until the chicken is done.
