Chicken Dry Biryani

This is a delicious biryani which can be made in just few minutes..........

Chicken Dry Biryani tastes the best with Basmati Rice......

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 cups Basmati Rice
    • 1/2 kg Chicken
    • 8-9 Green Chillies
    • 3 tbsp Ginger Garlic Paste
    • 1 cup Yoghurt
    • 7 Onions(thinly sliced)
    • 3 Tomatoes(chopped)
    • Salt,to taste
    • Oil
    • Cilantro(for garnishing)

    Directions

    1. Heat oil in a pressure cooker.Fry the onions till they brown,then add in the tomatoes and fry till the oil separates.
    2. Blend green chillies and ginger garlic paste.Add this pate into the cooker and fry for about 15-20 mins.
    3. Now mix in the yoghurt and keep frying  so that it does not curdle for some 5 mins.
    4. Add 4 cups of water and mix well.Mix in the cilantro and bring it to a boil on medium flame.
    5. Add the chicken pieces,rice and close the cooker.Wait 4 1 whistle.
    6. Turn off the flame and keep closed for 5 mins.
    7. Serve hot with raita.
