Garlic Prawn

Chinese Style

After eating in a resturant , i tried making it at home and it came out really good . Tastes good with both spagetti and chinese rice .

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 300 gms uncooked meduim sized prawns
    • 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
    • 1 cup chicken stock
    • 3 tbsp butter
    • 2 tbsp flour    
    • 1/2 tsp dry grounded mustard
    • 1/4 cup cream optional
    • 1 tbsp chopped parsely for garnishing .
    • salt and pepper preferably white as required .

     

     

      

    Directions

    1. Heat butter and add garlic in a saucepan .
    2. Add flour until combined . Remove from heat .
    3. Gradually add stock till combined.
    4. Return pan to the heat and stir till the sauce begins boiling .
    5. Add mustard , and season with pepper and salt as required.
    6. Bring the sauce to a boil and add the prawns .
    7. Take off from the heat as soon as the prawns colour changes.That will take hardly 2 minutes .
    8. The sauce should not be too thick .
    9. garnish with parsely and serve immediately .
    10. FOR PRESENTATION CAN SERVE ON A SIZZLING PLATE .

    aslkm,hi tasnim, i tried garlic prawns but when i served on the dining table..the prawns were missing..every one ate as a starter...the prawns were so juicy...i added more green chills...it was damn awsome...thanx mere dastar khwaan ki raunaq badhane ke liye....

    Dear friend Afshan , ur rite yes it is raai but nowadays u get grounded raai that is in coarsely grounded form in the market easily . Hope u try out the recipe it is really good .

    thnx for this wonderfull recepie i wanted to knw the recepie of garlicc prawns coz my hubby loves to eat garlic prawns and when i made it it was just so yummy and its easy also finally i got the recepie

    assalaam alai kum,,, dear tasnim,,i wish 2 make this receipe but confused with 1 ingredient..wht is dry grounded mustard...is it raai which is used for tadka... kindly le me no...waitin 4 ur reply...
