- urad dal-200gm.
- crushed pepper-1/2tsp.
- salt&water-reqrd amt.
- thick buttermilk-1lir.
- chopped coriander leaves-2tsp.
- curry leaves-10 nos.
- green chillies-2.
- mustard seeds-1/2tsp.
- any cooking oil-reqrd amt.
- asafoetida-1or2 pinches.
Directions
- soak urad dal for 30min.
- add small amt of water,grind it well.add salt.
- this batter should be thick.add crushed pepper.mix well.
- heat oil in a medium flame,put small..small amt of batter into the oil and make 'vadas'.
- let them warm.
- add g.chillies,asafoetida.coriander leaves,reqrd amt of salt to the buttermilk and keep aside.
- heat 2tsp oil.in another vessel,add mustard seeds.curry leaves and buttermilk mixture.after 30 sec,put off fire.
- add vadas .after soaked well,this is ready to eat.
