Badami Mutton Gravy

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1/2 kg boiled mutton
    • 250 g yogurt
    • 50 g almonds
    • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder
    • 1 tsp peppercorns
    • 1 tsp coriander powder
    • 1 tsp white cumin seeds
    • 4 green cardamoms
    • 4 cloves
    • 4 whole red chillies
    • 2 sticks cinnamon
    • 2 onions(finely sliced)
    • salt to taste
    • 1/2 cup clarified butter
    • 2 lemons

    Directions

    1. Heat ghee in a pot and fry onions till they turn golden.when onions cool, blend them with yogurt and almonds in a blender.
    2. In the same pot fry yogurt mixture along with ginger garlic paste.
    3. After frying for a while, add red chilli powder,coriander powder,whole spices,salt and lemon juice.
    4. Cook on low flame for 10 minutes then add boiled meat and keep on dum for 5 minutes.
    5. Serve with naans.
