Yoghurt dessert

this one of me & my daughters fav, I learnt this off my sis & take my word for it is really easy & yummy & a very good source of nutritions you can have it for breakfast esp those on a diet or as a dessert with out thinking about the Kcal.

Ingredients


  • 1 c muesli
  • 6 tbsp honey
  • a can of drained slice peaches or 2 apples cut into 4 halves & then thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup walnuts or almonds
  • 1 1/2 cup low fat yoghurt
  • 1 cup low fat sour cream or labnah
  • 6 -7 strawberry or kiwi for decorating
  • 2 tbsp honey 

Directions

  1. Take a transparent deep bowl 
  2. Put 1/2 c Muesli in it.
  3. Drizzle with 3 tbsp honey then
  4.  put a layer of  1/2 the amount of fruits & then nuts over it
  5. spread a layer of yoghurt on it.
  6. drizzle the left honey
  7.  then a layer of fruits that is left
  8. spread sour cream on the last layer.
  9. drizzle with honey & decorate with fruits. 
  10. Leave in the refrigerator & allow it to chill.
  11. Serve chilled.

Dear Khuserv, My picture profile is of Ahsan Manzil palace in Dhaka,BD. It is the palace which belonged to the Nawabs under the British empire. Rabz,no need of soaking it in hot water?good filling for breakfast.we normally pour hot milk.its bit hard.it looks like white colour coffee seed type.slightly smaller in size.christy,u get variety of museli packs with dry fruits in spinneys or almaya or LuLu

Hi Christy, thanks. Musesli is a kind of cereal basically made out of oats & nuts. Since u live in Dubai u can have a look at the Cereal section at super markets & I'm sure u'll find it. U can make it at home as I do many times. If u wish I can post it's recipe soon. Hope this has helped.Cheers.
