Kanda in marathi means onions. As this dish is made of onions and potatoes its called kanda poha.So here i am sharing this quick recipe with u.Enjoy it!
Ingredients
vegetarian 2 servings
2 cups Thick Poha (flaked rice)
1 chopped onion
1 Chopped potato
1 tsp chopped green chillies
1 pinch hing
½ tsp Turmeric powder
½ tsp Mustered seeds
coriander for garnishing
1 tsp coriander powder
oil for seasoning
salt to taste
½ tsp suga
1 tsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Red chilli powder
½ tsp ginger garlic paste
Directions
Wash poha and drain water completely and leave aside for 5 minutes.
Heat oil in a pan add Mustered seeds, hing, green chillies,onion and turmeric powder cook for 5-minutes. Now add the ginger garlic paste and cubed potatoes and fry until the potatoes are cooked well for 2 minutes.
Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt and sugar.
