Traditional mutton stew

Ingredients non vegetarian 1 servings


    • 1 kg of mutton
    • half kg of onion
    • 6-8 cloves finely chopped garlic
    • 2" chopped ginger
    • 5-6 red chillies chopped
    • salt to taste
    • 1/2 tsp turmeric
    • 200 gms of oil (that is extravaganza u can cut on that)
    • 10-12 black peppercorns
    • 5-6 cloves
    • badi elaichi (black cardamom)
    • 3-4 cardamom
    • 1 tsp jeera (cumin)
    • {jaiphal (nutmeg), javitri (mace), cinnamon} they are to be powdered and used only a pinch of them
    • 1 tbsp of garlic paste

    Directions

    1. Brown the onion in oil, put mutton in it and fry it well, then add up all the ingredients, and put only that much of water as it could just be in the level of all the material.
    2. Put the pressure cooker for 6-8 whistles this will make it tender and cooked completely
    3. Now take it out on a kadhai and keep cooking till the water is soaked and the mutton starts to put out oil.
    4. Serve with Roti/Paratha
