Fried lentil dumpling

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    FOR THE DOUGH

    • 1 1/2 Cup Maida
    • 1 tsp Salt
    • 1/2 tsp Soda
    • 1 tbsp Oil

    FOR THE DAL

    • ¼ cup Urad dal (Soaked for 20 min and churned without adding water)
    • 2 Green Chillies
    • 1 small piece Ginger
    • 1 tbsp Coriander leaves
    • 2 Red chillies
    • 1 tsp Sombu
    • Few Pepper corns

    Directions

    TO MAKE DOUGH

     1.  With the help of water make a dough and keep aside for 20 min.

    TO MAKE DAAL

    1. Coarse ground the above ingredients.
    2. Add salt, red chilli powder and garam masala
    3. Fry the paste in with 1 tbsp oil

    METHOD

    Make small rounds with the dough. Put the filling inside and roll again. Deep fry in hot oil on low flame. Serve with chutney.
