Fish Amritsari

crispy fish fry

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings

    • 2 medium size pomfret fish
    • 1 cup gramflour
    • 1/2 cup plain flour
    • 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1 tsp red chilli powder (you can increase according to ur taste)
    • salt (according to ur taste)
    • 1 tbsp vineger
    • little coriander leaves (chopped)
    • 1 tsp ajwain
    • oil for frying the fishes
    • 1 tbsp garam  masala


    1. Make  a smooth batter of all ingreadeants except oil
    2. Marinate the fishes in this batter for 30-45  min
    3. Deep fry the fishes
    4. Serve  hot with chutney



    yes nancy u can try with another fish but with pomfret we do it with whole fish other fish u can make it fillet


    The dish seems to be yummy but as we dont get pomfret in ISRAEL I will try with some other fish.
