Try this traditional north indian recipe at your home and you and your family are never going to forget it!!

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 medium sized brinjals roasted properly on stove or in oven
    • 1/2 cup green peas (frozen or boiled)
    • 3 onions chopped
    • 2 tomatoes finely chopped
    • 2 green chillies finely chopped
    • Salt, red chilli to taste
    • 1/2 tsp garam masala
    • 1/2 tsp amchoor
    • 2-3 tsp vegetable oil

     

    Directions

    1. Mash the roasted brinjals properly.
    2. In a separate pan, add oil.
    3. Then add onions in it. After they turn pink in colour, add tomatoes in it.
    4. Cook it for 5-7 minutes. Then add all spices into it. Then add mashed brinjals and peas into it.
    5. Cook for another 10-15 minutes.
    6. Sprinkle green chillies over it for garnishing and also it will add to its taste.
    7. Serve hot with chapati.

    How about adding some cloves of garlic inside the brinjals while roasting? You can also coat the tomatoes with oil and roast the tomatoes as well. Give it a try.
