Hi, It seems that the picture was taken was copied from this website: http://www.sailusfood.com/2006/05/05/butter-paneer-masala/ Doesnt seem appropriate to copy someone else's photo.

Mace is Javitri, it looks like flower and orangish in colour, it is also used in garam masala powder and a lot in mughlai cuisine like biryani. Boil tomatos with water and then remove the skin to make paste. If you want finer paste then then you can filter it too. dont discard the water because same water will be used in gravy.

I am still confused what is it "flowers of mace". Is ti nutmag? And the second question? How should I boil the tomatoes? In water with skin on? Or mash them up? This not still clear. Thank you for reply.

Dhania and haldi is traditionally not used in this recipe. If you think you ought to then use it. Cooking is all about trying new things with new ideas. Good luck.

hi.. sounds nice but i just needed to know if we need to add dhania powder and haldi powder to the recepie... woudlnt it taste blande without them??
