Beetroot Pulao

Yummy and heathy!!!

Hey this is a very healthy recipe. Try it you'll love it

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    •  3 cups uncooked rice
    • 1 finely chopped onion
    • 1 tsp ginger garlic paste
    • 1 medium size beetroot
    • 1 green chili
    • 1/2 tsp cumin seeds
    • 2 tsps oil
    • 1 tsp black pepper powder
    • 1 tsp red chili powder
    • salt to taste

    Directions

    1. Cook rice regularly
    2. Grate beetroot and pressure cook it without water (beetroot has enough water). If you want you can add just a bit of water.
    3. Now in a seperate pan heat oil.
    4. Add cumin seeds, once they start crackling add onions
    5. Once onions turn translucent add ginger garlic paste
    6. Once done add beetroot and all the spices
    7. Now add cooked rice
    8. Mix well and serve hot

    Ginger garlic paste doesn't go well with this pulao....only onion n some garam masala is fine..I tried both ways.
