Chinese style potato vegetable

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 4 large potatoes (80% cooked)      
    • 1 tsp chopped garlic      
    • 1/2 tsp chopped ginger      
    • 1 tsp chopped green chillies      
    • 1 tsp tomato ketchup      
    • 2 tbsp soya sauce      
    • 1/2 tsp chilli sauce       
    • 2 tsp cornflour      
    • 4 tbsp oil      
    • salt to taste  
    • For the garnish       sliced spring onions 

    Directions

    1. Cut the cooked potatoes into fingers.
    2. Heat the oil in a wok or frying pan on a high flame. Add the potato fingers and cook on a high flame for a few minutes. Remove from the wok or frying pan and keep aside.
    3. In the same oil, add the garlic, ginger and green chillies and stir fry for a few seconds. Add the potato fingers, tomato ketchup, soya sauce, chilli sauce and salt.
    4. Mix the cornflour in 1 / 2 cup of water. Add to the mixture and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
    5. Serve hot topped with sliced spring onions

    Hi Pooja. Its a nice recipe i seen. But its still feel something is missing in it. Of course I have not tried it yet, but it is not clear that potatos to be fried or to boiled or otherwise. Definately I will try in very soon then after I will write. thanking you. Hemant Chacahd

    HI POOJA NICE RECIPE sumthing different but this has to be eaten with sumthing along or it is by it self can v add ajinomott also in dis, it cums the same as it is shown in the pic or slight watery , bcoz in the picture its looking as if potatoes are rolled in bread crumbs or sum thing and tehn fried
