Individual's mug cake

Recipe by rabz of Dhaka, BD

Craving for a quick dessert go for this one, even my 9 year old makes it by him self. I assure you, you won't be disappointed.

Ingredients non vegetarian 1 servings


    • 3 tbsp self raising flour.
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 tbsp cocoa
    • 5 tbsp sugar
    • 1/2 tsp coffee
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tbsp oil
    • 3- 4 tbsp milk
    • 1 tbsp half crushed almond
    • 1tsp chopped dates and raisins
    • 1 tbsp chopped chocolate.
    • 1 tbsp hot water.
    • 2 tbsp Your choice of topping

    Directions

    1. Take a large mug and add all the ingredients together except  water and topping.
    2. Mix to a smooth batter then pour the water and cook in micro on high for 2.5 min( plz check you micro as all hav diff temp).
    3. Bring it out and top it with your choice of ice cream, chocolate sauce, or fresh cream.
    4. Scoop it and enjoy your life.

    Hi everyone and thanks allot 4 ur kind words. @Monika u can look for a vegetratian recipe in my cake in min to see wat I have used instead of egg. @mrs roy self raising flour can be made 1 c flour+ 1 1/2 tsp baking powder + 1/4 tsp salt shifted together twice and ur self raising powder is ready. @Rajiv thanks 4 giving me the new tips, honestly speeking u ur self give out wonderful recipes and I have enjoyed most of your recipes.     anxiously waiting 2 gv it a try..but can any1 plz tell me that if we don't get readymade self-raising flour, what can we use instead of that?

    This was very surprising and instant gratification! Turned out very good. I immediately tried another variation by changing two things. Increased quantity by double and moved to a bakeware bowl. Secondly, I added a topping of self rising flour, sugar, butter and cinnamon powder just before putting into microwave. Topping was dry and turned out very good. Also, for extra fun, you can finish the baking in a pre-heated toaster oven for less than 5 minutes. Way to go Rabz!
