Popcorn Chicken

A wonderful snack for tea parties

chicken marinated, deep fried served with tomato ketchup and green chutney

Ingredients non vegetarian 4 servings


    • 500 g Boneless chicken breast cut into pcs
    • 1 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
    • 1 tbsp Red Chilli paste
    • 1 tsp Soya sauce
    • 1 tbsp Tomato sauce
    • 1 Egg
    • ½  Cup Refined flour (maida)
    • ½  Cup Cornflakes
    • Oil  To deep fry
    • 1 tsp Chaat masala
    • 1 tbsp Lemon juice

    Directions

    1. Marinate chicken pecies with salt & lemon juice for ½ hour
    2. Prepare the paste by mixing refined flour,salt ,pepper ginger garlic paste, red chilli paste,tomato sauce , soya sauce and egg, mix well.
    3. Crush cornflakes and add
    4. Heat oil in a kadai, dip the marinated chicken pieces in the paste and deep fry till crisp and brown.
    5. Drain and place them on a serving plate, sprinkle chaat masala and mix
    6. Serve hot with Tomato ketchup or chutney.

    Nice recipe. I usually process the chicken breast a little in the food processor & tat also is good. Thanks.
