Black Forest Cake

Ingredients


  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 100 gm butter
  • 2 cup maida
  • 4 tbsp cocoa pwdr
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp soda
  • 1 pack chocolate
  • 1 Tin cherries
  • 400 g cream
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar

Directions

  1. Grease a cake pan and dust it with maida.
  2. sieve together maida, cocoa powder, soda and baking powder.
  3. Add condensed milk, vanilla essence, butter and beat well
  4. Pour cake batter in the greased microwave safe cake dish.
  5. Microwave for 20 min or till fork inserts and comes out clean.
  6. Cool for 15 min.
  7. Cut the cake into 2 halves and soak it in cherries syrup
  8. Sandwich two layers of cake with whipped cream and chopped cherries
  9. cover the top and sides with rest of the cream and cherries..
  10. Garnish with grated chocolate.
  11. Chill and serve

Anamika well its a good recipe with simple ingredients,but one thing i want to make it clear you mentioned about 2tsp of sugar powder in the ingredients but you have not used it in the directions any where please clarify .Salomi Suchitra (K.S.A)

Hi swati... this is an eggless cake recipe.... n derrell u cn use cooker also to bake the cake...

Hi Nafisa, u can surely use ur oven to bake the cake... bake the cake in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees (F) for 30 min... or till the toothpick comes out well... pls keep an eye over the cake coz timing may be different...

hi anamika, yr receipe looks yummy and i want to try it, but the only problem is that my microwave oven is not functioning well, so can you please tell me if I can use the ordinary oven and if possible the degrees and for how long? your help will be appreciated. tks nafisa
