Fried Dal Vada

Dal vada is delicious snack rich in protein. Enjoy as evening snack or side item in dinner.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings

For Vadas 1/2 up Moong Dal 1/3 cup urad dal 1/2 cup Chana dal a pinch of asetophodia 4 green chillies 1 inch ginger 2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) oil for frying 1/2 tsp turmeric powder Salt to taste For Green Chutney 1 bunch of pudina corainder leaves 2 slice of bread 1/2 inch ginger 3-4 flakes of garlic 4 Green Chillies 1 Lemon juice Salt to taste.

Directions

For Vadas

  1. Soak all dals atleast for 3-4 hours, grind dal with chilli, ginger and all above ingredients without adding a water.
  2. Batter should be of Vada consistency. Heat oil in a karahi, put the batter in oil with the help of the spoon.
  3. Fry it till it become golden brown in color.
    For Chutney :
  4. Soak a bread in a water for 2 minutes. add all the above ingredeints along with a bread and grind it in a fine paste.
  5. Add juice of one lemon in it and chutney is ready.

Serve hot vadas with chutney and sauces.
