All time Favourite Pakode

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings


    • 2 cup chana daal
    • 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste
    • handful chopped fresh coriender
    • salt to taste
    • 1 tsp green chilly paste
    • 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 big chopped red onion
    • pinch of baking soda
    • 1 tsp lemon juice
    • oil to fry

    Directions

    1. soak chana daal for 5-6 hours or overnight.
    2. Drain water from it & grind it from grinder.
    3. Now mix above mentioned ingredients(except oil & soda) with ground daal.
    4. Keep mixture aside for half an hour.
    5. heat a pan with a oil, take 2 tsp of oil from the pan & add it in to the daal mixture, add baking soda, mix it with help of spoon.
    6. Fry the pakode with regular method.
    7. Serve hot with tamarind or tomato souce.
