This is a surprisingly simple recipe with amazing taste, specially if you love corn. Try to use fresh corn for this yummy appetizer.

Ingredients

  • 4 cup Fresh Corn
  • ¾ cup Maida (white flour)
  • 1 tbsp black pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 egg (optional, vegetarians can omit this)
  • Oil to deep fry

Directions

  1. Mix all ingredients adding just enough water to bind everything together.
  2. If you are adding eggs, beat one separately before mixing it in.
  3. Heat oil for deep frying.
  4. Form into fritters shaped like the ones in the picture on a flat spoon and slide into hot oil.
  5. Fry on medium heat and remove the fritters on a kitchen towel.
  6. Serve with hot sauce or ketchup.
