Onion - Tomato Gravy

Indeed simple and a great menu for a very light dinner. Just add onions add tomatoes and seasoning.. ready to eat

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1 1/2 cup Sliced onions
    • 1 1/2 cup sliced tomatoes
    • 1 tsp turmeric powder
    • 1 tsp red chilly powder
    • 1 tsp jeera powder
    • 1 tsp madras curry powder (Everest Company)
    • Few sprigs of corriander leaves
    • 350ml water
    • salt
    • oil


    1. Heat oil in a kadai.....add sliced onions.
    2. Cook for a min and add sliced tomatoes.
    3. Add in it all the above spices and cook for a min more.
    4. Stir in it water for a thin consistency gravy.
    5. Let it come to boil.
    6. Lower the flame and cook for a min more and garnish with corriander leaves.
    7. Now serve with hot steam rice and curd alongside......
