Paneer Sandwich

Yummy sandwich for breakfast...grt for lunchbox too.

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 1 loaf Sandwich Bread
    • 1 cup Grated Paneer
    • 2 Onion (finely chopped)
    • 2 Tomatoes chopped 
    • 3-4 Green Chillies (finely chopped)
    • 1 tsp Cumin seeds (jeera) 
    • 1/2 tsp Sugar
    • 1/2 tsp Red Chilli powder
    • 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
    • 1/2 tsp Chat Masala
    • 1/2 cup chopped Cilantro (Coriander leaves) 
    • 2 tblsp Butter
    • Salt to taste 

    Directions

    1. Butter the bread slices & keep aside.
    2. Heat butter in a kadai & add in cumin seeds when the butter melts.
    3. Add onions & Green chillies once the Cumin seeds crackle. Fry until onions turn soft.
    4. Now add Tomatoes, Turmeric, Red chillie powder, sugar & salt. Mix well & fry for few mins stirring frequently.
    5. Add grated Paneer, Chat Masala & Cilantro. Fry for 3-4 mins & remove from heat. Allow the mixture to cool completely.
    6. On a slice of a bread, spread the cooled Paneer mixture & cover it with another buttered bread slice.
    7. Grill it or Toast in a bread toaster till golden brown. Serve hot with Tomato ketchup & Mint chutney.
