Chicken Angara

  • 1 chicken cut into medium pcs.
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • 1 tbsp green chilli paste
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 250 gm curd
  • salt to taste
  • Marinate the chicken with the above masala for 2 hrs.
  • Puree of 4 big tomatoes
  • Fry 4 onoins and grind it with the tomato puree.
  • 1 cup fresh cream
  • whole garam masala
  • 1 tsp black pepper


  1. Take oil in a pan,add whole garam masala fry till turns pinkish.
  2. Add the chicken saute it.Cook half.
  3. Add onion puree mixture,saute properly.
  4. let the chicken cook till tender.
  5. Add fresh cream.
  6. cook till oil floats on the gravy.
  7. sprinkle coriander leaves and serve hot with naan.

this reciepe is for chicken angara hence u forgot to add the angara this can be done by heating a piece of charcoal on the gas burner...till it becomes red...then u put it in ur ready dish in which u are to serve the chicken cover it with a lid as soon as the charcoal is immersed in the gravy...so that the aroma lingers in ...there ur dis is complete nowwwwwwww.....

I'm sorry but you know something you forgot the main taste required for chicken angara and i.e; Coal. So when the person eats he gets the taste of Aag. hope you know how to do dat..... Firoz

with 250gm curd and tomato puree too,doesn't the chicken become too sour?
