Special Lassi

A tempting variation for usual lassi

An excellent coolant after a spicy meal. Be careful, it’s quite heavy!!!!!

Ingredients vegetarian 4 servings


    • 2 cups beaten curds
    • 1 cup water
    • Few ice cubes

    1 tbsp each of the following:

    • Sugar
    • Condensed milk
    • Horlicks powder dissolved in 1tbsp milk
    • For topping:
    • Chopped cashew
    • Chopped cherries
    • Grated fresh coconut
    • Rose syrup

    Directions

    1. Blend together beaten curds, water, sugar, condensed milk and horlicks mix till smooth and light
    2. Chill and pour into long tumblers
    3. Top with chopped cashew, cherries and grated coconut in a concentric manner.
    4. Add few drops of rose syrup on top and serve.

    Are the beaten curds cottage cheese or tofu. Also, I do not have access to the special mix. Are there specifc spices in the mix?What flavors could I use instead?
