Fish Curry

Ingredients non vegetarian 2 servings


    • 4 pieces of Pomfret Fish
    • 1/2 fresh coconut
    • 3 green chillies
    • 3-4 garlic cloves
    • 1 tomato
    • 1 potato
    • 1 small piece ginger
    • 1/4 bunch coriander
    • 1 tbsp dhania seeds
    • 1 tsp jeera whole
    • red chilly powder
    • turmeric powder
    • salt
    • oil

     

    Directions

    1. In a jar add fresh coconut cut in slices, garlic, ginger, dhania seeds, jeera, green chillies, tomato and coriander and grind them to a fine paste.
    2. Heat oil in a kadai, add in salt, red chilly powder, turmeric, potato pieces, and the above masala paste.
    3. Cook well on low heat till oil appears from the sides.
    4. Now add in required amount of water to make a semi thick gravy and bring to boil.
    5. Add in it pieces of fish and cook well on medium heat till its done.
    6. Check for fish and ready to serve hot garnished with coriander leaves.

    You can there is no harm, but still if you feel doubtful, you can stir in the potato pieces first followed by the dry masalas and the same as rest.

    how can we add salt directly in the oil, with out adding anything for seasoning?
