its easy to cook and very tasty

Ingredients vegetarian 2 servings

    • 1 cup rice flour(fine variety)
    • 1 big onion
    • 2 to 3 green chillis (can vary according to taste)
    • 10-15 curry leaves
    • salt to taste
    • 1/4 cup coriander leaves
    • water to knead dough
    • oil to cook the rotis

    1. Make a dough of rice flour, finely chopped onions, chillis, curry leaves, coriander leaves and salt .
    2. Use very little water as onions tend to leave water .
    3. Use little oil while kneading to prevent dough from sticking to your hands.
    4. In a deep bottomed kadhai, put one teaspoon of oil.
    5. spread the oil using palm of your hand .
    6. Take a cricket ball sized dough and spread it in the kadhai using fingers .
    7. Try to make the roti as thin as possible.
    8. Make two or three holes in the roti and put oil.
    9. Cover with a lid and cook on medium flame. Cook only on one side.
    10. Carefully remove from kadhai and serve with lemon pickle and curd.
    11. Wash the outer portion of the kadhai to cool it before making the second roti.
    12. It takes little longer to cook but is very filling.

Second Variation: grate one carrot, finely chop one small capscium, one radish, coriander leaves, onion and proceed as above.
