Spice mix for tandoori style cooking

Use this mix for any tandoori dish. Don't store the spice mixes for long time (more than a month). You will get perfect flavor from freshly ground spices. However, You can keep this for months if stored in an airtight container.

Ingredients

4 tsps. Coriander Seeds
3 tsps. Cumin Seeds
4 tsps. Garlic(powder)
4 tsps. Red Chili Powder
3 tsps. Dry Ginger(ground)
2 tsps. Dry Mango Powder
1 tsp. Mint(dry powder)
3 tsps. Food Color(dry, red)
1 tsp. Turmeric Powder

Directions

  1. Mix all the ingredients together and dry grind them.
  2. Store in airtight containers.
  3. You can use this spice mix in various tandoori style dishes. To search for dishes that use this mix, use tandoori as your keyword for ingredients.

I feel 3 tsp. of food colouring is too much since the colours (orange/yellow/red) are so strong. I suggest just 1/4 tsp or less would do for the quantity mentioned.
